Down a back street in Seminyak, Kieran & Yunika Morland serve modern Indonesian dishes with a twist, often with family recipes from Yunikas Javanese heritage, mixed with her husband’s culinary background. Sangsaka, which loosely translates to “the pride of the Indonesian flag”, is a 60-seat restaurant with wood fired oven and grills, an outdoor terrace for alfresco dining, and rooftop bar named ‘Diatas’ for an after-dinner tipple.

Were super excited to introduce you to DI ATAS, which means ‘Upstairs’ in Indonesian is located directly above the restaurant. Di atas is a simple cocktail bar with comfortable banquette seating, sit up bar, 20 guest capacity inside and 10 outside on our rooftop. This is our newest space which can be reached by going through our private dining room in Sangsaka or accessed via the alleyway alongside our restaurant. This venue is good for pre or post dinner drinks, snacks or dessert, were also available for party hire. We’re not trying to be anything were not, just making the drinks that we love, using the best quality spirits and indigenous ingredients. Bar opens from 7pm to 1am every day. Come and check it out.

Sangsaka can accommodate various sized groups as it has multiple rooms for specific occasions. We have a main dining room that can hold up to 50 guests, an adjoining private dining room for up to 18, outdoor terrace for 15 guests and a bar upstairs with rooftop seating for canape parties or celebratory events, this venue can comfortably hold up to 30 guests (weather pending, 20 inside, 10 outside) and is available for private hire.
